Tonight’s episode:  Tonight the show is coming from the aircraft carrier the USS Midway in San Diego, CA.  They find out that jets will be flying over them – so a little noisy.

The first contestant of the day comes in wearing a bikini and stilettos. She is having trouble keeping her butt cheeks in the bottom.  I guess she thinks the outfit will get her the golden ticket.   Randy asks her what she is wearing.  Steven tells her it is against the law to be that cute as he leers. Her name Jennifer Diley is a waitress from Ohio and she cannot sing.  She sings With You by Jessica Simpson and then she tries Hero by Mariah Carey.   Steven tells her – that her voice lacks the fire that her outfit has.  Needless to say it failed and she did not get the golden ticket.

Ashley  Robles,26 is a single Mom from San Diego, CA.    She is singing I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.  Randy said it was very nice and that is how you audition.  He tells her she has a great voice.  Steve tells her she is going to be big.  They are sending her to Hollywood and gets a golden ticket.  She was fantastic

Jayrah Gibson, a R & B pop artist singing Musiq Souldchild’s song, Just Friends.   Randy thought he was mad, mad good.  Steve thinks he was great, the whole ball of wax.  Jennifer loved him too.  It is a YES he is going to Hollywood.

Aubree Dieckmeyer, 20 San Clemente and she is singing Feeling Good by Michael Buble.   WOW, the girl can sing.  Jennifer loves her and tells her she is really really good.  Randy tells her have a really good natural talent.  Steven tells her he has never seen anyone sing with that much flavor.  It is a YES and she is going to Hollywood.

Ali Shields, 19, from CA and she is in love with Steven Tyler – she is going to rap for them.   She did some ghetto dancing for them. Randy says it was a wild audition and they all really like her even though she is not that strong a singer she has a lot of personality and tons of confidence.  She gets a golden ticket and she is going to Hollywood.

Day 2 Auditions

Kyle Crews, 19, a student at the University of CA Berkley Angel of Mine by Monica.  Steven tells him it is the best male voice they have heard so far.  Jennifer tells him he is WOW and Randy tells him he can sing.  Steven tells him he has to work on the look and lose the shirt.  But it is a YES and he is going to Hollywood.

The judges are having trouble hearing the contestants over the boats and the jets going by.  The judges get annoyed because there are planes, trains, boats and birds making noise.

The next contestant is Jim Carrey’s daughter Jane Carrey singing Something to Talk About by Bonnie Raitt.  Randy liked her voice and they all though she had a nice voice.  They are giving her a golden ticket and she is going to Hollywood.

Jason Wolf Hamlin ,24, singing Midnight Special by CCR  they asked him to sing another song.  He sings Johnny Cash’s Folson Prison Blues.  Steven liked it and said a good way to end the day – Randy and Jennifer loved him.  They are sending him to Hollywood!

It’s a wrap in San Diego, 53 contestants got the gold ticket to Hollywood.  All the judges agree it was a great day in San Diego.  On Wednesday the judges head to Aspen, Colorado.  Come back and visit us because we will be covering the show with all the fun details!
