Kate Middleton Agrees To Queen Elizabeth's Traditional Royal Christmas – Carole Middleton Not Welcome

Kate Middleton has agreed to Queen Elizabeth’s traditional Royal Christmas. Carole Middleton is not welcome at Sandringham. Princess Charlotte first Christmas will be spent with great-granny and the rest of the Royal family.

It was previously reported that there was a power struggle of sorts going on between Carole Middleton and Queen Elizabeth. The Middleton matriarch should know by now – when it comes to Queen Elizabeth the Middletons will never win. It is expected that the Cambridge’s will see eventually see Pippa, James and Michael and Carole Middleton, perhaps for New Year’s Day.

Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton will head to Sandringham and spend Christmas with Queen Elizabeth. Of course the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince Harry will also join in the celebration. The Royal family will follow the long-established German custom begun by Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert of opening gifts on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day Queen Elizabeth will host the traditional luncheon. In addition to the aforementioned Royals, 31 other members of the family will join in the festivities. The Middletons, however, will not be included in the family Christmas Day activities this year.

Despite previous reports by the Daily Mail that Kate Middleton was planning a stay-at-home, kitschy-filled Christmas at Anmer Hall, the Express disclosed this is not the case. Royal insiders divulged that the Cambridge’s decided to give their “hard-working staff the day off” and will not host a Middleton-filled Christmas this year.

“The only member of the Duke and Duchess’s staff that will be on hand is Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s nanny Maria Borrallo. A source revealed “[Maria] may be needed if the kids are a bit lively or under the weather.”

The Royal Family will attend services at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas morning. Crowds who wait outside the church to catch a glimpse of the family hope to see two-year-old Prince George and eight-month-old Princess Charlotte. Last year onlookers were disappointed that George did not join the Royals outside the house of worship.

Talk about waiting until the last minute to finalize Christmas plans! Maybe Kate Middleton wasn’t certain how to break the news to Carole Middleton and waited until the last possible moment? It is a Royals-only Christmas at Sandringham this year. Queen Elizabeth must be absolutely delighted!
