Kate Middleton shared the Cambridge Family Christmas photo! Prince George and the Duke and Duchess are preparing for the joy of Princess Charlotte’s first Christmas.
Professional photographer Chris Jelf snapped the photo of the happy family. Duchess Kate, Prince William, Prince George, and Princes Charlotte are casually dressed – Princess Charlotte is even missing a shoe. Prince George’s toy train is also in the snapshot, as if the third-in-line to the throne had just finished playing with it.
Prince George apparently couldn’t contain his joy! The toddler is smiling excitedly, dressed all in blue and sporting a full head of blond curls. Perhaps mum and dad were able to entice George to smile big for the camera with tales of Father Christmas’s upcoming visit to Anmer Hall or Sandringham – or possibly both! Maybe Father Christmas will pay a visit to Buckingham Place or Kensington Palace too.
Somehow the photog was able to cajole a smile from seven-month-old Princes Charlotte! Prince William was captured smiling adoringly at Princess Kate and the Duchess is beaming from ear to ear. It is a lovely family portrait.
Despite numerous reports that 2015 has been a rocky year for the Cambridges, the photograph tells a different story. Kate Middleton looks rested and healthy. Prince William has the air of a proud papa and devoted husband. And the message accompanying the portrait confirms the joyous year enjoyed by the family of four.
“The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four.”
When asked, the Duke of Cambridge has divulged that Prince George can barely contain his excitement over Christmas. Prince William has laughingly said that George has been hopping around like a bunny rabbit. William doesn’t expect to get much sleep on Christmas Eve.
The Cambridge’s decorated a nine-foot pine tree at Anmer Hall – and a few ornaments Prince George picked out on a recent shopping trip with Kate Middleton adorn the Christmas tree. Sounds as if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone to great lengths to ensure that two-year-old Prince George will have splendid Christmas.
