Miranda Lambert Trolls Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani: Mocks Engagement Reports By Posting Her Fake Proposal?

Miranda Lambert’s faux engagement is sparking a lot of chatter online. Even though Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are dating, the country star isn’t walking down the aisle with her boyfriend. Miranda Lambert announced that she’s (fake) engaged to a 6-year-old fan who proposed to her during one of her concerts.

The sweet moment happened backstage after her performance when the young boy got down on one knee to propose to the chart topper. Miranda Lambert shared a photo of the moment on her social media accounts and said, “I said YES! I got I got engaged today. There’s a little 6-year-old boy somewhere here named Sebastian. He asked me to marry him and I said, ‘Yes, in 25 years.’ When he came to my meet and greet, he got down on one knee and he was such a gentleman. It may be my favorite proposal ever … ‘Cause girls, we deserve that. We deserve that.”

And while many of Miranda Lambert’s fans thought it was a cute gesture, others are guessing that the country star is trolling her ex-husband Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. After all, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani engagement reports have been taking the Internet by storm and what better way for Miranda Lambert to beat them by the punch by announcing her engagement first.

Needless to say, there’s very little change that a Miranda Lambert engagement will happen anytime soon. Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have been dating for several months now but their relationship is no where near as public as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s romance. The blonde country star knows that an engagement announcement would definitely get to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and that’s why Miranda Lambert used the opportunity to troll them.

Of course, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have not responded to the engagement photo, nor have they made any indication that they are planning to get married themselves. Yet, Miranda Lambert knows that it will only be a matter of time before her ex-husband marries again, as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s romance has been all about their PDA and maximum media exposure.
