General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, tease that Finn (Michael Easton) will be on a mission. He’ll refuse to give up his dream of a life with Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Finn will start digging around online as he works to track Hayden down. This jilted groom just can’t accept that Hayden has left him behind.
Curtis (Donnell Turner) will step up to give Finn a reality check. He’ll contend that Finn shouldn’t try to find Hayden. As painful as it is, sometimes it’s best to just deal with the heartache and move on. Curtis might be afraid that Finn will face more rejection if he actually locates Hayden.
Across town, Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Jared (Matt Corboy) will clash. When Dr. O roped Jared into her scheme, he was a bit hesitant. However, the prospect of cash and revenge eventually convinced Jared to get with the program. Since the plan didn’t pan out for him, he’ll be absolutely livid.
General Hospital spoilers say Jared will shout that his ex-wife screwed him over. She canceled the transactions and now Jared is back where he started. Jared may feel like he’s been wasting his time. When he reveals that he can’t find Hayden, Dr. Obrecht will suspect that her plot worked like a charm.
Dr. O may urge Jared to confront Finn and see what he knows about Hayden taking flight. She might hope that Jared can get the scoop on Finn’s sorrow and possibly make all this worse in the process. That would be a win-win for Dr. Obrecht. Unfortunately, there are no real winners here.
All Jared will walk away with is a punch in the face from Curtis and some manhandling from Finn. Don’t worry, though. Dr. Obrecht’s day of reckoning is rapidly approaching. Her inquisitiveness will cause additional chaos later this week.
In the meantime, Franco (Roger Howarth) will finally make his way back to Port Charles. He’ll share some kisses with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and fill her in on what happened in New York. Franco got some of his artwork back, so that’s something to celebrate. Franco and Liz will undoubtedly put the fire back in their romance pretty soon.
At the park, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) will push Parker (Ashley Jones) to dish the dirt. She’ll want to know the latest chapter of Parker’s life. Since Kristina played a big part in the previous one, she’ll think Parker owes her some details.
Other GH spoilers say Ava (Maura West) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) will discuss temptation. It looks like Griffin will manage to control his desires, but Ava’s imagination will still run wild. She’ll fantasize about how things could be without her scars. Ava wants this sexy doc’s luscious lips!
Of course, Ava may get her wish down the road. Griffin is all about the heart, not the outward appearance. He sees some good in Ava and he’ll cling to that.
