Justin Bieber‘s rumored girlfriend, Jacque Pyles, is discussing their relationship and clearing up the rumors circulating about them. I’m not sure how much we can really believe what she says, because she could just be doing this on Justin’s request.
Jacque tells E! News, “Well I’ve actually known him since I was 14. I’m 19 now, so it’s been five years. We met because I was in a girl group for Nick Cannon called School Girls and he was in the movie that we were filming, so from there we just became friends and hung out a lot, and it’s just been growing since.”
She also adds that she’s single, but that she would love somebody with a great sense of humor, saying, “You know I just like someone with a sense of humor. Someone that can make me laugh. Like if I’m down, they can just lift my spirits and make everything better.” And even though she still claims that she and Justin are not dating, she admits that they’re going to be hanging out again ‘soon’.
Hmmm… yeah, I’m not buying it. Justin brought her a vacation to the Bahamas, and he’s been spotted with her non-stop for the past few days. So even if they’re very good friends and have known each other for a few years, what’s stopping that from turning into a real relationship?
There’s also another possibility: that Justin and Jacque are just friends with benefits. Justin might think that it’s only befitting of his status if he dates celebrities or models, and he might think that people finding out about Jacque would affect his image somehow. In reality, it would actually improve his image, but when has he ever been smart enough to do what’s right for his image?
