The palace is really starting to annoy me with all its bellyaching. I’m tired of hearing about invasions of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s privacy. Look, I’m sorry you are one of, if not the most, famous people in the world. I’m sorry you get to reap all the benefits that come with that. Not many people get to vacation constantly, have the opportunity to really make a difference in the world just by attaching your name to something and wear glamorous clothing. But there’s a downside to everything and Kate and William’s happens to be that they get their pictures taken. Boo hoo. If you have your clothes on it’s not really that big a deal. Don’t have sex on the beach and everything should be fine. Are those really tough parameters to live by? Because I really don’t see what the huge deal is with these Kate Middleton baby bump bikini photos. Naturally, Chi magazine published them today and, naturally, Woman’s Day will do the same on Monday with something like 39 additional pics. It’s the nature of the beast. But is the palace making everything worse?
I think so because there is no scandal. The pics are tasteful and cute. I really think Kate and William need to sit down with their people and devise a new way to deal with these problems since we can probably all agree there will be many more to come. Stop addressing them! Why does the palace always need to come out with a statement demanding photographers be fired and why do Kate and William always have to be hurt or saddened? Rise above it. Haven’t they realized by now that they don’t get pity when they bitch about the media? Whatever happened to the stiff upper lip and keep calm and carry on?
Funny enough the palace isn’t speaking out on the claims that the pics were taken by a fellow tourist and not a paparazzo. That wouldn’t do. It doesn’t fit their current game plan which is to blame the media for everything that goes wrong in Kate and William’s lives. The Queen has got to be fed up with their vacations at this point. Every time they say they need a break something stupid happens. True, it’s not their fault necessarily (although Kate probably should have kept her top on in France) but their people make it their fault when they react as they do.
Do you think the Kate Middleton pregnant bikini shots would have caused as huge a commotion if Kate and William would have stayed quiet on the subject?
Side Note: Pippa Middleton was apparently papped in a bikini as well and those pics will be published along with the others on Monday. Do we see her crying? Sure don’t.
