Every once in awhile Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s offers up a real nugget of truth. I’m not talking about the twisted stretch of twisted reality that they like to feed to their viewers, I mean every now and then in between the nonsense we get a real comment. On last night’s episode Khloe Kardashian gave us just that. The main reason why she avoids going out with her momager, Kris Jenner, is because she hates having to be her designated driver.
We have all heard the rumors about how Kris drinks too much and is usually popping bottles well before quitting time, but this was different. It was clear that Khloe hates having to parent her messed up mother and last night’s show gave us a glimpse of why. Kris was totally blitzed and acting completely out of control. When drunk she turns into that person that you can’t let out of your sight for even a moment because you know they’ll end up in some sort of trouble. That’s bad enough when it’s your friend, can you imagine having to reign in your mother?
It’s also clear that Khloe has talked to Kris about her drinking and that got her nowhere so avoidance was the next best plan. It’s kind of ironic that in a family filled with young women it’s the mother that ends up sh*it faced on camera on numerous occasions, isn’t it? Is it time for Kris to put down the glass and check herself into rehab once and for all? I can’t think of another Hollywood family matriarch that would think it’s cool to be caught on television trashed. That right there probably indicates a real problem, don’t you think?
