Everybody’s favorite famewhores, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, were spotted in New York City today. Of course, they were NOT with North West, but that really shouldn’t come as a surprise: if we did the number crunching, they’re probably seen together a lot more times without her than with her.
Meanwhile, Kanye’s tour of crazy continues, what with his ‘genius’ unable to contain itself during interviews. Not only is he boycotting Louis Vuitton now, but he has declared the Kardashian family necessary assets to America, claiming that they are single-handedly responsible for improving the country. Yeah, you read that right.
In an interview with D.C.’s 95.5 station, Kanye enlightens us by explaining, “A lot of what the Kardshians do, I don’t think they get enough credit for what they do. They prep America to accept interracial relationships. I’m not talking about me, I can hope on a plane. I can date a white woman, I can date a black woman, and no matter what they say in the barber shop don’t matter, because I don’t get my haircut there. For the people that do, though, there’s a white woman that’s getting talked down to by her friends because she’s dating a black guy. Now you’ve got a point of reference, that you can say, ‘Well, actually this couple right here, that’s dope.’”
Yes, because Kim and Kanye are the ideal ‘dope’ couple that everyone looks to when they look at interracial marriages. Kanye’s words of wisdom just don’t stop coming, do they? It’s like he opens his mouth, and there’s just a stream of unfiltered thoughts spewing themselves out, and his only saving grace is that they’re just so damn entertaining that you almost don’t want him to stop.
Almost, but not quite. If he’s gotten to the point where he’s calling the Kardashians essential to the country, he needs to stop. He’s biased, obviously, but he’s now praising the entire family as opposed to just Kim. When did they brainwash him? I thought he hated the entire lot of them? And if they have changed his mind, then you can slowly watch the proliferation taking place as they convince Kanye of their own brilliance, and let him carry that message to all of his fans. Sure, most people don’t listen seriously when Kanye speaks, but he has a lot of powerful friends – and will they be forced to accept Kim eventually? *Shudder* Can you imagine Anna Wintour and Leonardo DiCaprio being forced to accept Kim Kardashian? It will never happen. We’ll probably see Anna retire before she ever lets Kim on the cover of Vogue.
