I guess now we’ll see where things really stand between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders, the married director who hooked up with the much younger actress while filming Snow White and the Huntsmen. The two originally began a torrid affair in the U.K. Last year but cut ties when photos emerged of them a little too close for comfort. Robert Pattinson kicked Kristen to the curb immediately, but then eventually tried to reconcile with the chronic sourpuss. The status of their relationship still is a bit murky. He headed off to film a flick down under and a split has been insinuated. Rob canoodling and dining with other women while 8000 miles away from Kristen has only fueled the rumors that the two are kaput.
Meanwhile on January 25th Rupert’s wife, Liberty Ross finally pulled the plug on their ten year marriage and officially filed for divorce. She went home to the U.K. Leaving a free and single Rupert alone in L.A. Where Kristen also is licking her wounds. According to pals of Rupert, they expect him to reach out to Kristen. In the latest issue of In Touch an insider claims that Rupert thinks Kristen is flawless and that if he’s not obligated to Liberty then he will be looking to rekindle things with Liberty.
Well, we already know that fidelity is not Kristen’s strong suit and that if her guy is missing then she instinctively looks for another to fill his shoes even temporarily. Seeing photos of Rob with some hot blonde isn’t going to keep Kristen pining for him either. It’ll likely cause her to run to another man for some sort of comfort, don’t you think? Will Rupert be that guy? I don’t know about you but I could totally see them secretly meeting simply because they have no one else and there is something between them. That thing was originally big enough to make Rupert risk his entire family so I wonder if it all just faded away.
