The Wanted is trying their best to promote their new reality show ‘The Wanted Life’. And what better way to promote it than to continue to play up their feud with One Direction? 1D is doing the mature thing this time around, and ignoring all jibes from the Wanted – so far.
Meanwhile, The Wanted’s Max George was reported as saying, “We would like a boxing match – them against us. It would be brilliant for TV, and I have no problem with it at all… If they have got an issue, why don’t we actually do something financially — like make some money for charity and blow off some steam in the boxing ring? I don’t think there is a better idea other than that I don’t want anyone to get savagely hurt.”
For the record, our money’s on The Wanted if this was ever to happen. I mean, all of One Direction probably weighs 200 pounds put together.
That aside, this whole feud business is getting ridiculous. Just last week, The Wanted decide to ‘out’ one of the band members, calling Louis Tomlinson gay. Which may be true, may not be true, but what do they know about it? It’s clear that they’re using One Direction’s name to bring publicity to their new show, and they definitely need all the ratings they can get.
I mean – One Direction = 3D movie with tons of buzz, The Wanted = Reality TV show on E!. Who wins? One Direction, by leaps and bounds. And The Wanted are attempting to get the 1D fans and crazies to hate-watch their show.
