Kate Middleton Upset Over Prince William's Cousin, Zara Phillip's Pregnancy Announcement - Bad Timing or Royal Put-Down?

Prince William’s cousin, Zara Phillips, is also joining in on the baby celebrations and speculations after it was announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Mike Tindall. The baby will only be born in early 2014, so Kate Middleton need not worry about the PR and marketing disaster this announcement could have created.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the new year. The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Mr. Phillip and Mrs. Linda Tindall, and members of both families are delighted with the news. This baby will be the first child for Mike and Zara and the third grandchild for the Princess Royal,” Buckingham Palace revealed in a statement.

Do these people time their announcements? Do they make little marketing babies with tiny hands?

Kate is expected to give birth on the 13th or 14th of July in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital. The media attention has forced the hospital to cover the front windows in order to prevent photographers from “getting unwanted shots”. Once the baby is born, its gender will be revealed “via a royal proclamation that will be delivered from the hospital to Buckingham Palace, where it will be placed on an easel. The Queen is usually notified of the babyvia a hand-delivered notice”, but it is reported that Prince William will break from tradition this time by calling his grandmother via an encrypted line.

Cold chills commencing.

It’s raining babies this year. Literally. Kim Kardashian gave birth to a compass not too long ago, Kate is about to give birth to a blue blood, and now Zara Phillips is also growing a bun in her royal oven. A baby here, a baby there, a baby everywhere!
