Days of Our Lives spoilers recently teased that Lucas Horton would finally be getting a storyline of his own, and a new love interest! Naturally DOOL fans began racking their brains trying to figure out which Salem beauty the writers would be pairing Lucas up with, and ironically it’s the last person we ever suspected. According to all new Days Of Our Lives spoilers, Lucas’s new love interest is none other than Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis.
Days of Our Lives spoilers in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest reveal that by a twist of fate, Lucas and Adrienne wind up spending Christmas Eve together – and are both feeling incredibly lonely on the holiday and enjoy each other’s company. Apparently the unexpected duo bond over the fact that neither of the have anyone special to spend Christmas with, while Lucas is comforting Adrienne he suddenly sees her in a totally different way than he ever has before.
Ironically, Days of Our Lives rumors and coming and going news tease that Wally Kurth is expected to return to the NBC soap in January as Justin Kiriakis – Adrienne’s absent husband. Justin has been “out of town” since April and the last time DOOL fans seen him was at Will and Sonny’s wedding. So, it looks like he will head back to Salem just in time to find his neglected wife cuddled up with Lucas Horton, which should be interesting – to say the least.
So Days fans, what do you think of Adrienne and Lucas together? Even if they don’t last, at least the two characters are finally getting some screen time. How will Justin react when he returns to Salem and finds Adrienne bonding with Lucas?
