LeAnn Rimes is not the subtlest of famewhores, is she? LeAnn was photographed in Miami on Saturday, and before that, NYC on Friday. And guess what? No Eddie Cibrian, although we did get plenty of pictures of LeAnn showing off her flat stomach. OK LeAnn, we get it, you’re not pregnant and you’re not fat.
What’s interesting is the lack of Eddie. Considering that Friday was Valentine’s Day, where was the supposed love of LeAnn’s life? LeAnn was only spotted with a female friend, both in New York City and Miami. They were spotted shopping at stores, and hobnobbing between restaurants. The only other evidence of LeAnn’s Valentine’s Day is through her endless Twittering, where she decided to let the whole world know that she bought roses for a homeless man.
So I guess – buying things for homeless people on Valentine’s Day > celebrating it with your own husband? I mean, I know it’s a kind gesture, but there’s no way I believe that LeAnn did this out of the kindness of her heart. I’m sure her initial intention was to wait for the paparazzi to spot the gesture, but when that didn’t pan out, she was forced to resort to Twitter-publicizing it.
Again, there’s no subtlety here. Famewhoring is a talent in itself, and LeAnn’s terrible at it. The only reason she’s kept herself famous for this long is through the public fascination via her love life, or the idiotic love triangle between herself, Eddie, and Brandi Glanville.
Either way, LeAnn and Eddie not spending V-Day together definitely signifies trouble, although it’s too soon to tell for sure. The real question is – what was Eddie doing for Valentine’s Day?
