The Walking Dead Spoilers: Spin-off 'Cobalt' Set In Zombie Infested Los Angeles!

The Walking Dead spoilers for Cobalt promise that TWD fans are in store for a dynamite new show. One of the most interesting aspects of The Walking Dead is the fact that it’s set around Atlanta, Georgia. Most post-apocalyptic shows take place all over the place, but one of the most unique things about The Walking Dead is that it takes place in a city that is not Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles – a rarity in TV show land. However, the Walking Dead spin-off [tentatively titled Cobalt] will reportedly be set in Los Angeles, even if the show doesn’t necessarily film in LA.

AMC President Charlie Collier recently sat down with TV Line and discussed some Walking Dead spin-off spoilers a.k.a. Cobalt spoilers, explaining, “Almost from the beginning of The Walking Dead [which is set in Atlanta], fans have been curious about what is going on in the zombie apocalypse in other parts of the world.”

More specifically, it looks like we’re actually going to get the breakdown of society in this spin-off, not to mention more details about what caused the virus and what made it spread so rapidly. Remember, Rick Grimes [Andrew Lincoln] was shot and in a coma for only a few WEEKS before the world became a post-apocalyptic wasteland. What happened in this few weeks to cause the world to turn to such shit? It seems like we might actually get our answers on Cobalt.

The Walking Dead’s viewership also continues to increase, so Cobalt will allow viewers an outlet for their insatiable zombie TV appetite and improve upon AMC’s coiffures. Yet another reason why AMC executives are salivating to get this show up and running. The casting has been completed, and now it’s only a matter of time before they decide on filming location and get this show underway.
