On January 31st Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found unresponsive in the bath tub at the home that she shared with her brother/husband Nick Gordon. Bobbi was rushed to a Georgia hospital, where she has remained on life support. Although Bobbi Kristina’s family insists that the troubled girls’ health is improving, conflicting reports have emerged from the hospital claiming that Bobbi’s status has not changed and the odds of her survival are dismal.
While Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life continues to hang in the balance – so does her $20 Million inheritance, which she partially received after her mother Whitney Houston’s death in 2012 with the bulk held in trust until Bobbi is 30-years-old. It’s no secret that there is no love lost between the Brown Family and the Houston Family, and an all-out war is being waged over Bobbi Kristina’s life-support, funeral arrangements, and inheritance.
As the details of Bobbi Kristina’s drowning keep rolling in, it is becoming apparent that Nick Gordon is a prime suspect in Whitney Houston’s daughter’s tragic drowning – and the cops are suspecting foul play. Rumor has it that Nick Gordon may have attempted to murder Bobbi Kristina in hopes of collecting the $20 Million, but according to Bobby Brown’s lawyer Nick and Bobbi were never legally married and if she does pass away – he will not receive a dime. Regardless, it is certain that Nick will try to fight the legal system and acquire Bobbi’s money, if he can prove that he and Bobbi were actually married.
According to OK!, Nick Gordon will be fighting an uphill battle over Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance, because both the Houston Family and Brown Family plan to stake claims. Both families have already lawyered up, and Bobbi Kristina has second and third cousins coming out of the woodwork to pay their respects in Atlanta, and check on the status of her $20 million Whitney Houston inheritance. According to several reports, Kristina’s will technically states that everything she owns will go to her grandmother Cissy Houston. But, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that multiple members of Kristina’s family and Nick Gordon plan to contest the will.
Have you been following Bobbi Kristina’s case?
