Bruce Jenner is officially a woman! The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been slowly transforming into a woman over the course of the last year – Bruce recently opened up about his transformation in an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer. He confirmed he would be getting a sex-change surgery to legally become a woman; however, he wouldn’t pin down the actual date or time period that he planned on going under the knife.
According to a new report from Radar Online, Bruce Jenner has finally gotten his sex-change surgery and is 100% woman. Radar’s inside source revealed that Bruce underwent the surgery about three weeks ago, and has been recovering from the full gender reassignment procedure. The source went on to explain, “The procedure involved reshaping Bruce’s male genitalia into that of a woman. He was very happy with the results, but didn’t realize how grueling the recovery would be.”
Gender reassignment surgery is no simple nip and tuck – the procedure reportedly lasted over 8 hours. And Bruce is 65 years old – so it more than likely takes him longer to heal than it would a younger patient.
During his interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce Jenner wouldn’t discuss the sex-change operation, and implied that he wanted some privacy. However, he did just recently land his own reality TV show with E! Network, so by privacy he probably meant that he is under contract and sold the exclusive rights to the surgery to E! and can’t disclose any info because they are filming it for the show.
