Caitlyn Jenner has a transgender girlfriend! Earlier this month, Caitlyn was spotted in New York City at the Pride Festival with Candis Cayne on her arm. Candis, who is also a transgender woman and a popular singer among the LGBT community, attended all of Caitlyn’s events with her, and even dedicated a song to her when she performed on stage. The rumor mill instantly began buzzing that the two women were dating.
On July 15 Caitlyn Jenner attended the ESPY Awards to receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, and once again Candis Cayne was right by her side. US Weekly Magazine insists that Candis and Caitlyn are “just friends” because you know they have so much in common, but no one is buying it. Multiple sources in NYC revealed that Candis and Caitlyn were all over each other, and their chemistry was undeniable – and they even got a couple’s massage at a spa together and went out on a romantic dinner date. The fact that neither Caitlyn nor Candis will comment on the dating rumors, is a tell tale sign that they are actually dating.
When Caitlyn Jenner first confirmed that she was transforming into a woman, there was a lot of confusion. Would she still date women? Or would she start dating men? A fellow transgender woman seems like the most sensible partner for Caitlyn, who has openly stated that she is still attracted to women. But we can’t help but wonder if Candis feels the same way about Caitlyn or if she is just tagging along for the ride and fame. Two weeks ago, no one knew who Candis Cayne was, now her name is plastered all over the internet – you can’t tell us she isn’t enjoying the limelight after singing in clubs for years. Maybe this is the big break Candis has been waiting for.
