Chris Rock’s Ex-Wife Denies CPS Investigation, Claims She Is A Good Mother

Chris Rock’s Ex-Wife Denies CPS Investigation, Claims She Is A Good Mother

Chris Rock’s ex-wife is finally speaking out to deny claims that she is under investigation about a child that is in her care and in her statement Malaak Compton-Rock says she is a good mother.

She claims she is only looking out for the best interest of her children but she is not being investigated by CPS or INS or any other agency about the welfare of any child in her care.

After rumors of a legal investigation reared up again for Malaak Compton-Rock and her ex-husband Chris Rock, Malaak issued a statement through her lawyer.

“Malaak has never been contacted about an investigation of any sort,” said David Aronson. “The welfare and livelihood of this child has always been of utmost importance to the entire Rock family,” Aronson said.

“(Ntombi) is in the United States lawfully with the written consent of her biological parents, with whom she continues to have contact.” One of Chris Rock’s family photos popped up online right around Thanksgiving.

This photo had a lot of people wondering the identity of a 7-year old girl who was posing along with the Rock family. It turns out that girl is Ntombi Khanyile, a South African girl who has been living with the Rock’s since she was just 6 months old.

Apparently, they had planned to adopt Ntombi but had brought the little girl to the United States before any adoption was made legal. According to the bizarre story, Ntombi’s parents handed their baby girl over to the celebrity couple six years ago.

Ntombi’s parents just couldn’t afford to raise her along with the other two children they already had. It is unclear how Chris Rock and his estranged wife crossed paths with the now-split South African couple but it was reported that Chris and Malaak took the girl in so that she could have a better life.

While that sounds very altruistic, there was a report last year into the Rock family and their unofficially adopted daughter. When questioned about why her daughter was living with the Rock family in the U.S., Precious Ndebele talked about how she was living in poverty when she got pregnant and could barely take care of her other two children.

When asked if she was paid for her baby, Ntombi’s mother refused to answer after being very forthcoming with information. What makes the whole story even weirder is that Chris Rock has never been involved in any legal adoption proceedings according to TMZ and that bringing Ntombi home was Malaak Compton-Rock’s idea.

It looks like Chris doesn’t want any part of this South African baby scandal and he’s putting all the blame on his ex-wife. Malaak is reportedly looking to legalize the adoption of Ntombi without Chris now that they are divorced.

In a statement released by Malaak Compton-Rock, she claims she is not being investigated by any agency about any of her children and that she is not guilty of child trafficking as many reports claim. Malaak says that Ntombi is in the United States with the permission of her parents and that everything is completely legal.
