Chrissy Teigen wants everyone to know that it is her baby, her choice. The supermodel will eat as much sugary cereal as she wants now that Teigen is pregnant and she’s not going to let the Internet give her crap about it.
Teigen has been very open about her fertility struggles and the challenge to have a baby with her husband John Legend. Now that Chrissy is knocked up, the supermodel has been sharing every little detail of this new experience just like an excited first time mom.
The only problem is, Chrissy Teigen is famous and her following is pretty huge. So when Chrissy told the world that she is eating a mixture of Fruity Pebbles and Captain Crunch cereals every single day, many pregnancy health gurus blanched. Then instead of minding their own business, or at the very least congratulating Chrissy on her first pregnancy, they started to criticize her diet.
Fans were shocked and outraged that Chrissy Teigen would dare eat such unhealthy food. Many decided to tell the supermodel about her horrible eating habits and urged Chrissy to swap out the cravings buster for healthy and organic cereals instead. Others blasted Teigen for “poisoning” her unborn child with a Chernobyl-sized blast of food dyes.
Well another thing pregnant women seem to have an abundance of is emotions and Chrissy Teigen wasn’t amused at all the hate she was getting over a bowl of cereal. Instead of letting the remarks roll off her back, Chrissy decided to confront her haters and give them a piece of her mind.
Teigen took to Twitter with this message, “if you wanna give me unsolicited baby advice on the damn cereal I eat/what I wear u better unlock your profile so I can see your perfection,” and pretty much ended the debate over who runs Chrissy Teigen.
In case anyone wasn’t convinced of Chrissy Teigen’s anger over being shamed for sharing her pregnancy cravings, she went on to tweet a few more things. Dripping with sarcasm, Teigen said, “Then I’m gonna f***** take the trapeze class I’ve been meaning to take.” Followed by another tweet, “Then maybe do a 3 legged race then probably rent sumo suits and battle strangers.”
Then just to make sure everyone knew that Chrissy Teigen was listing all the bad choices she didn’t make, making her sugary cereal cravings seem silly, Chrissy tweeted, “Then a nice cigar in the hot tub oh today will be a delight indeed.”
Now that Chrissy Teigen has made her point about how unwelcome the chatter over her food choices is, she can go back to enjoying her pregnancy. This isn’t even the first time Chrissy has been harassed about her pregnancy.
Just after announcing her exciting baby news, rumors of twins circulated the net because Teigen’s bump was supposedly “too big.” What people didn’t know is that Jon Legend’s TV host wife didn’t tell the world she was expecting until she hit that magical three month mark.
