“General Hospital” spoilers tease that there is much more to come in the Fluke/Luke Spencer mystery, and although we now know that Helena Cassadine doesn’t have Luke under some sort of mind control – there is still a lot more to the story than what meets the eye. GH fans were completely thrown for a loop this Winter when Luke and Bobbie Spencer’s older sister Patricia was mentioned on more than one occasion, and viewers were just as baffled as Luke’s daughter Lulu (Emme Rylan) and wife Tracy (Jane Elliot) when it was revealed that there was another member of the Spencer Family. Patricia was mentioned in passing many years ago on the ABC soap, and never actually appeared in any scenes – but according to “General Hospital” casting news, all that is about to change.
“General Hospital” has put out a casting call for three youngsters to play the parts of Bobbie, Luke, and Patricia when they were children. So, we can expect to see some flashbacks that will shed some light on the Spencer Family’s mysterious past and Luke’s DID (dissociative identity disorder). And, according to “General Hospital” spoilers in the latest edition of ABC Soaps In Depth, Patricia is headed back to Port Charles to be reunited with Luke (Anthony Geary) and Bobbie. Soaps In Depth teases, “The soap is looking to bring on a well established “name” actress to play a “juicy” part in a short arc. The character is described as a blue-collar survivor who has lived a rough life, but whose resolute spirit has carried her through. So, unless we have completely lost our ability to predict, Patricia is about to make an appearance in the here and now.”
So far there is no news yet on whether or not TPTB at “General Hospital” have found an actress to play the part of Patricia. But, one thing is for sure, the Patricia storyline is far from over, and it sounds like it may not have just been another red herring from the writers and the character could be a crucial key to unraveling the Fluke mystery that has plagued GH fans for over a year now.
