“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease the possibility that Greg Vaughan will return as Lucky Spencer. Are Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky headed for a reunion? Recently “Days of Our Lives” fans were shocked to learn that Greg Vaughan (ex-Eric Brady) had been taken off-contract and was no longer filming with “DOOL.”
In the most recent edition of ABC Soaps In Depth Rebecca teases that Greg may return to “GH” and this has fans buzzing. Rebecca dished that she would be happy to see Greg bring back as Lucky. The actress believes that Vaughan made the character his own from 2003 through 2009.
Liz’s love life is going to take a turn for the worse sooner or later. Either Sam (Kelly Monaco) is going to figure out that Liz knew Jake Doe was Jason (Billy Miller) before the big reveal. Or, Jason will begin to have feelings for Sam again. With Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) headed out of Port Charles the door is wide open for Jason and Sam to reconnect. One way or the other, Liz is going to be all alone.
Jonathan Jackson did reprise the role of Lucky Spencer briefly in order bring the presumed dead Little Jake back to Port Charles. Lucky believed that Jake would be a good stepfather, and he left town. Now that it has been revealed Jake is really Jason will Lucky still feel the same way?
Greg Vaughan seems to be the logical choice if Lucky is coming back to town. Jonathan Jackson is busy staring in the ABC primetime drama “Nashville” as Avery Barkley. It’s highly unlikely that Jonathan Jackson would commit to a long-term contract with “GH.”
Are TPTB considering bringing Greg Vaughan back as Lucky Spencer? Herbst believes this would be a great time to bring her ex-husband back to town. “I don’t think it’s a bad move. Lucky is tied to so many people in Port Charles.” But, as Rebecca points out, neither fans nor actors opinions matter when it comes to casting decisions.
