“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers indicate that Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) will need all her strength soon because she may have to reconcile herself to raising her unborn child alone. This will be the second time that Sabrina has to face a split before the birth of a child.
When Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and Sabrina broke up because Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) came back from the dead, Sabrina had to face the prospect of being a single mother. But this time, Sabrina thought she would have Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) at her side.
Unfortunately, even though Sabrina wanted Michael to be her baby daddy, he’s not biologically the father of her fetus and now that he knows, it looks like Michael will ditch her. Everyone has tried to warn Sabrina that she’s only seen the sweet side of Michael.
But Michael has a much worse temper than Sabrina suspects and she may soon face the brunt of it. Michael does have a right to be mad that Sabrina lied to him, but he is wrong not to consider stepping up to play dad to her son since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) did the same for him.
Michael may, in fact, calm down later and try and reconcile with Sabrina, but will it be too late? Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) told Sabrina that he was leaving town because of all the heat on him. But he did give her the info to find him.
Once dumped by Michael, will Sabrina follow Carlos out of town? Or will Carlos be nabbed by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) before he can get out of Port Charles? There are a couple of different ways that Carlos could be gone for good – either on the run from the law or locked up in Pentonville.
And with Michael furious about Sabrina’s lies, she may find herself without any baby daddy at all in the life of her and her child. Sabrina deserves better – but that doesn’t mean she’ll get it. What will complicate the Michael-Sabrina situation as well is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Even though Carly was in a similar position when she was pregnant with Michael – and told several lies about his paternity – she will not have any sympathy for Sabrina – and will likely interfere. Not only will Carly likely tell Sabrina off, but she will encourage Michael to ditch Sabrina.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may not agree with Carly since he’s open to all kids – not just his own – and thinks Sabrina is good for Michael. But you may recall that Carly said before that Sabrina is not the big love of Michael’s life and wants her gone.
Will Michael’s temper and his mother’s pressure cause him to ditch Sabrina for good? Or could Michael split with her but then later regret it and move for a reconciliation? We do know that Sabrina’s portrayer Teresa Castillo is expected to take maternity leave of several weeks in coming days.
Will Castillo’s absence be explained by Sabrina taking off out of town after Carlos? Or will she return to Puerto Rico to be with her family after Michael dumps her – then come back after Michael makes a move to reconcile?
