Kim Kardashian might get her divorce from Kanye West through an unexpected channel, Bruce Jenner’s sex change docuseries! Kanye West has little street credibility left, but the fact that the man that practically raised his wife, Kim Kardashian, and whom she considers a father, Bruce Jenner, is about to become a woman… is about all the rapper can handle. Kanye West has battled gay rumors for years and wants to stay far away from the whole situation with Bruce Jenner and does not want to have anything to do with the filming of his new sex change docuseries which follows the former Olympian through his transgender journey of transitioning from a man to a woman.
Filming has begun on the documentary, Bruce has given a very personal interview about his life changes and new show, and now Kanye wants to make it clear to wife Kim Kardashian that he wants no part of any of the filming. The Jenner and Kardashian families have been very supportive, including Bruce’s ex-wife, and Kim’s mother Kris Jenner. TMZ reports the family has been a part of the filming which includes an emotional breakdown by Kris upon listening to Bruce speak about his transition. Kim, and sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have all been supportive of Bruce’s changes. Kendall and Kylie, however, are extremely embarrassed and refuse to talk about it unless they have to.
Given that Bruce is their biological father, they feel it is more difficult for them than their half-sisters, whose father was Robert Kardashian, Sr. Kanye told Kim that he does not want to have anything to do with the filming and he doesn’t want North involved either. Kanye has even encouraged Kim to take a step away from her family during this time because he doesn’t want “their brand” associated with the whole Bruce Jenner sex change. Despite the couple’s relationship troubles, Kanye feels their brand is still very important and he doesn’t want to jeopardize it for the sake of showing support for Bruce.
And in a very telling conversation this morning with Ryan Seacrest, Kim seemed to fumble her words when she was thrown off-guard when asked what she and Kanye had planned for Valentine’s Day. Given that she is counting the days until she can divorce Kanye, spending Cupid’s special day with him was last on her list. Kim didn’t have anything planned, and wasn’t expecting the question so she had to make up something on the spot—and her fumble was obvious. Kim ended up saying they were just planning on “staying in.” Hmmm…sounds a lot like her plans for New Year’s Eve. Very strange for the couple who craves attention more than food, air, and water.
Kim also admitted to not even knowing that her hubby spoke and premiered some of his new music at the iHeartMedia Music Summit on January 21, telling Ryan that it was his email that tipped her off. Then, when talking about the fact that Kanye sometimes comes up with new music “when he is taking a shower,” she realized that she’d better make them sound like a happy couple and quickly changed her statement, following with, “when we are taking a shower.” Yeah, Kim, CDLers caught that. Ryan Seacrest likely caught it as well, but since Kim Kardashian is part of his bread and butter (he is an executive producer on their E! shows) he let it pass.
While Kim has told Kanye that she wouldn’t be a bug part of the filming, she does want to show her support for Bruce. Though Kim does care about Bruce, she is mainly defying Kanye solely to have one more valid reason to leave him. Kim Kardashian plans to use the fact that Kanye was insensitive to her and her family during such a difficult time after the divorce, to make it appear as though she was the victim in the demise of the marriage.
