Kim Zolciak Demands to Return on Dancing With The Stars Season 21, Carrie Ann Inaba Says 'No Way!'

Is Kim Zolciak returning to Season 21 of Dancing With The Stars? Not if Carrie Ann Inaba has anything to say about it. On Monday September 28, Kim Zolciak and Tony Dovolani were eliminated from the competition because they were not there to perform – which was to be expected, it states clearly in the show’s rules: “no dance = eliminated.” Kim Zolciak suffered a mini-stroke and was hospitalized for a week, but the actress was cleared by her doctors to dance on Friday September 25, however she was not cleared to fly and couldn’t make it to the live taping.

Kim Zolciak is furious that the producers eliminated her and pro partner Tony Dovolani by default – and thinks that they deserve another chance and should be allowed to return to the competition.

Kim took to Instagram and explained to her fans, “I was cleared to dance on Friday when I was discharged from the hospital, so Saturday morning I was up rehearsing not even 12 hours after. I had no restrictions BUT flying until today. Yes the timing sucked but ultimately my health is first. I wanted to dance here in ATL via satellite. I could dance just not fly. I’m forever grateful for my dance partner Tony who has always supported me and all of my amazing fans!!! Regardless I will be dancing my ass off at the finale! A petition was started online calling for the DWTS producers to let Kim return, and it now has over 22,000 signatures.

One person who will not be rallying behind Kim Zolciak’s return is Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba. E! News caught up with Carrie Ann at an event and she dished on why she thought Kim Zolciak should NOT be allowed to return. Carrie Ann explained, “I think that it would not be fair, because the rules are the rules and she didn’t compete. It doesn’t feel right for me for her to come back. The best part of this situation is she’s OK,” She had a stroke and she survived and she’s doing well.”

What do you guys think? Would it be unfair to let Kim and Tony return? Do you think the producers will have a change of heart due to fans’ overwhelming response to the elimination? Come back to CDL for all your DWTS news, recaps, dances and gossip! Let us know what you think in the comments below!
