We have all had a front row seat to Miley Cyrus’ descent into the world of drugs over the course of the last few years. It’s no secret that Miley is an avid marijuana smoker, and has been rumored to use Molly and cocaine on a regular basis. But, according to a new report, we can officially add a dangerous addiction to prescription drugs to the lengthy list of reasons Miley Cyrus needs to be checked in to rehab.
According to the July 20 edition of Life & Style Magazine, Miley Cyrus has been taking Xanax, an anti-anxiety medication, for over a year now – and she is addicted to the dangerous prescription. At first, Miley was prescribed Xanax to help her calm down and reduce some of her stress while she was on her Bangerz Tour. But the tour has been over and Miley is still taking it every day, usually way more than the intended dosage, and mixing it with other drugs and alcohol!
An insider dished to Life & Style Magazine, “Sometimes I have seen her take it multiple times per day. Miley started using it to help her calm down while she was on tour, but she never stopped. She will already be on Xanax, but she will still drink or take Molly, or smoke weed in the evenings – so she is super messed up.”
Miley’s addiction has reached serious levels, but the singer thinks that everyone is over-reacting and she has no intention of quitting the prescription pills or heading to rehab any time soon. Life & Style’s source added, “A lot of her friends are really worried, but she just brushes off their concern. She thinks that she is invincible and this will never catch up to her. But, that stuff is poison.”
There really is nothing you could tell us about Miley’s drug use that will surprise us any more. At this point, Miley is not going to get help – unless she is dragged to rehab kicking and screaming, or has to check in due to some court of court ruling.
