Orange Is The New Black spoilers tease that Season 4 of the wildly popular TV show will debut on Netflix in June 2016. But fans have been dying to know if Laura Prepon’s character Alex Vause will be back with the rest of the Litchfield gang. Season 3 ended with an epic cliffhanger, everyone went for a dip in the lake when they discovered a hole in the prison yard’s fence. Unbeknownst to them, Alex was in the greenhouse with a gun to her head – her former boss’s hired henchman had finally arrived to take her out.
Orange Is The New Black rumors began to fly, and the internet was in a frenzy. Were the writers really killing off Laura Prepon’s character Alex Vause? Was this the end of the line for her? They were further fueled by the fact that Ruby Rose made her OITNB debut and seemed to steal Alex and Piper’s thunder. Did the writers introduce Ruby Rose to make the transition to an Alex-less Orange Is The New Black a little more bearable for fans?
Even though Season 4 of Orange Is The New Black won’t be released for another 10 months, Laura Prepon and the rest of the cast have already begun promoting its 2016 premiere. And we have good news for Alex fans – it sounds like Laura will still be around in Season 4. Prepon really can’t give away too many spoilers for the Netflix show. But, from what she has said in interviews, it sounds like Alex Vause won’t be killed off and will still be a central character. Recently, Alex dished to TV Guide, “Alex was justified in her paranoia. I think that empowers her. In Season 4, we definitely don’t see a timid side of Alex.”
