Rick Ross Arrested, Charged With Aggravated Battery And Kidnapping - He Pistol Whipped A Maintenance Worker!

Rapper Rick Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, is having a bad start to his hump day. According to E! News, Rick Ross and his bodyguard Nadrian James were both arrested early Wednesday morning, June 24, at Rick Ross’ home in Fayette County. E! News has confirmed the arrest with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Both Rick Ross and his body guard Nadrian James were charged with aggravated battery and kidnapping, while Ross was also charged with aggravated assault. The charges were confirmed to E! News by Marshals’ Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force supervisor, Jim Joyner.

According to Joyner, Rick Ross, 39, got into an altercation with a maintenance worker and the altercation turned physical. Rick Ross allegedly pistol whipped the contractor. Rick Ross and Nadrian James, 42, were arrested at Ross’ Fayetteville, Georgia home without incident. According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s office, the matter is currently under investigation still, and no further comments can be made at this time.

CBS’ Atlanta affiliate WGCL-TV has recently reported that Rick Ross and Nadrian James will be held at the Fayette County Jail for their initial appearance, and a bond hearing to determine how much their bonds will amount to. When E! News reached out to Rick Ross’ representatives, they did not receive an immediate response.

Rick Ross is no stranger with the police. Earlier this month, June 10, Rick Ross was arrested in the Atlanta area once again for misdemeanor marijuana possession, for which he was jailed in Atlanta. In 2008 and 2011, Rick Ross was also arrested on marijuana related charges as well.

As of now, we are waiting to hear more news regarding Ross’s arrest, but this time it seems that Ross has upgraded his illegal activity from possession of marijuana to physically assaulting someone. We’re not sure how this case will end up, but it does not look good for Rick Ross.

What do you think? Should Rick Ross do jail time for this incident, or do you think he will end up getting off free? Let us know in the comments below.
