Taylor Swift is getting married! Taylor Swift began dating DJ Calvin Harris just a few short months ago, but the pop singer and her new Scottish boyfriend are madly in love. So in love, in fact, that Calvin is reportedly shopping for engagement rings and is planning an over-the-stop proposal for Taylor. The DJ hasn’t exactly been discreet about his wedding plans, and Taylor is well aware that there is a huge diamond in her near future – she has already decided that when Calvin does pop the question, she is going to say “yes!”
According to this week’s edition of Life & Style Magazine, Calvin has been asking all of Taylor’s friends about her favorite jewelry stores and even her ring size! An insider dished to the tabloid, “Calvin is on the fence about where to propose because Taylor has so many favorite places. He thought of romantic Paris or Italy, but now he is leaning towards Nashville, where she has one of her homes.”
Planning a proposal is a breeze though in comparison to the prenuptial agreement negotiations that Taylor and Calvin are going to have to endure before their actual wedding ceremony. Forbes just listen Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift as the highest paid celebrity couple, literally doubling Jay-Z and Beyonce’s $146 Million net worth. So, once Taylor does say “yes,” the two lovebirds are going to have to sit down with their lawyers and iron out a prenup.
As far as Taylor and Calvin’s actual wedding ceremony, there are not too many details available quite yet – but considering what we know about Taylor she will most likely go for a traditional and over-the-top ceremony. The girl is worth $200 Million dollars she could literally get married in a castle carved out of ice if she wanted to, there is no way she is going to settle for something small and discreet.
