“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers tease that Rick (Jacob Young) will make a major decision about his future with Maya (Karla Mosley) and possibly propose marriage. Rick already told Maya that he’s in it for the long haul and they could take the next step once his divorce is final. Nicole (Reign Edwards) seemed to think that Rick’s commitment should be enough for Maya to spill her secret, but Maya is waiting for a true proposal before she takes such a huge risk. Maya knows that her sex change could be a game changer for Rick. There’s really no predicting how Rick will react and Maya doesn’t want to lose control of the situation just yet. Maya hopes to hold onto her secret for as long as possible to preserve her relationship. Unfortunately, it looks like Maya’s confession could happen sooner than she planned.

Rick could surprise Maya by popping the question and she’ll have to determine if honesty really is the best policy. Deep down, Maya knows that Rick deserves to hear the truth. Word has it that Maya will finally decide it’s time to tell Rick that she used to be a man, but will she have the nerve to actually say the words? By giving Rick the shocking news, Maya is gambling with everything she’s achieved. Maya has come a long way from her days on Skid Row, but her career, power and love could all be taken away in an instant.
Things look perilous for Maya right now, but it seems likely that the storm will pass eventually. Bradley Bell, the executive producer of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” said that this is a story about love and tolerance. Rick will probably come to accept Maya’s transition and choose to follow his heart. Even if Rick doesn’t come around, there’s still hope for Maya’s love life. There are even a few rumors floating around that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) could rekindle his romance with Maya. B&B viewers know that Carter was stunned when he learned about Maya’s past, but he’s warmed up to the idea considerably since then. If Rick does break Maya’s heart, maybe Carter could pick up the pieces. Whatever the case, you can bet that Maya will end up with someone to share her life with.
