“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 4, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will be seething over Victor (Eric Braeden). Phyllis will want Victor to pay for everything he’s done. However, Jack (Peter Bergman) will insist that they have to be patient. They’ll see the sketch in the newspaper that’s supposed to be Marco (Peter Bergman), but Jack will say it looks like the captain of the cargo ship. Since Marco is still on the loose, Jack and Phyllis will make a password so Marco won’t be able to trick her again.
Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will get a phone call, but no one will say anything on the other end. Meanwhile, Noah (Robert Adamson) will confront Victor about interfering with his relationship. Noah will say that he doesn’t need Victor’s approval to have a friend like Marisa. Victor will assure Noah that he cares about him. After Noah leaves, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will question Victor and he’ll explain that Marisa was connected to a drug lord. Noah’s involvement with Marisa could mean bad news.
Phyllis will talk to Nikki at the athletic club while Jack goes to find Marisa. Nikki will hint that they need to put the past behind them. Phyllis will reply that Nikki is either drunk, delusional or both. When Phyllis rips into Nikki for standing up for Victor, Nikki will mention all of Jack’s bizarre behavior over the last couple of months. Nikki will think Victor isn’t at fault for Jack’s actions. Victor will end a phone call by demanding that someone find Marco. Phyllis will stomp off just as Victor returns. Nikki will let Victor know that Phyllis isn’t in a forgiving mood.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Jack will show up at Marisa’s door and she’ll be happy to see him. Jack will question why Marisa is still protecting Marco and Victor, but she’ll indicate that she fears for her life. Suddenly, the power will go out. Jack will track down Victor and they’ll argue about Marco. Victor will say that Marco would jump at the opportunity to be Jack Abbott once again.
Back upstairs, Noah will tell Marisa that Victor won’t come between them. Noah will say that Marisa has changed his life. They’ll make love and Noah will share that he’s not going to forget Courtney (Kelli Goss). However, Courtney would want Noah to move on. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will also chat about their relationship. Sage will worry about giving Faith (Aly Lind) updates on their engagement, but Nick will assure her that everything will be just fine.
At Crimson Lights, Faith will discuss a conversation she overheard between Sage and Nick. Sharon (Sharon Case) will learn that the baby’s paternity is up in the air. Dylan (Steve Burton) will tell Sharon that it’s none of their business, but she’ll disagree since it concerns Faith. A short time later, Nick and Sage will arrive to announce their engagement. Sharon will be surprised and bring up the paternity issue. They’ll go back and forth until Faith comes over. Faith, who’s seen Sage’s ring, will excitedly shout that “Daddy’s engaged!” Once Nick and Sage are gone, Dylan will tell Sharon that she needs to let him know if she’s having doubts about them as a couple. Sharon will promise that she’s committed to him and wants to build a life together.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will return home and shatter the framed picture of Marco. The power will go out and Phyllis will go to investigate a noise. Phyllis will see someone who looks like Jack, but she won’t be sure. Phyllis will casually fish for the password, but he won’t take the bait. It’s clear that this is Marco. Will Phyllis play it cool or confront Marco for his misdeeds? Y&R rumors hint that Marco could put several lives in danger soon. Stick with the CBS soap to see what trouble Marco will stir up.
