Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Subpoenaed $60 Million Lawsuit Forgery Claims: The Next Teresa and Joe Giudice?

A fake signature could land another reality star, and her husband, in court. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been subpoenaed for forgery claims. Sound familiar? Are Tori and Dean the next Teresa and Joe Giudice?

It all starts with a lawsuit filed in the fall of 2013. Tori and Dean’s production company, Life In A Bowl, ran a show on Oxygen called ‘sTORIbook Weddings.’ Denny O’Neil Jr. and Charles Malcom sued Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott for allegedly stealing their idea for the wedding show. The $60 million lawsuit was settled through a mediator, but O’Neil and Malcom claimed the entire process was full of “illegalities and frauds.”

Both Denny and Charles immediately felt they were screwed in the mediation for several reasons, but they were primarily focused on the signature issue and the fact that Oxygen participated in the mediation. The Oxygen network was a defendant in the suit until being dismissed in October of 2013.

New details reveal the producers are also claiming they had been “forced” to sign the settlement “under duress” for a paltry $100,000 according to Radar. O’Neil and Malcolm are also suing their attorneys, Justin Daily and Reed Aljian, for several reasons, but they specifically note “failing to raise concerns over the validity of the signature of Tori Spelling.”

Spelling’s signature is causing huge problems for the reality star. The producers claim Tori’s signature has been analyzed by an expert who insists it is a forgery. Last year, when the suit was settled, Radar had their own handwriting expert inspect the questioned signature and also found it to be a forgery.

This court battle is still developing, but it appears we could have another round of Teresa and Joe Giudice. The Giudices pleaded guilty to conspiring to falsify loan applications and concealing assets when declaring bankruptcy. Both Teresa and Joe were sentenced to prison, and the media are enjoying every dramatic moment, including Joe’s cheating scandal and Teresa Giudice’s belongings being seized by the government.

Tori and Dean also have a history of cheating scandals and this $60 million lawsuit isn’t going away. A few days ago, People reported a friend gushing about the couple and how they were “in a good place” after all of McDermott’s infidelity and rehab trips. There’s no telling how this lawsuit will impact their relationship, but stay tuned!
