JoJo Fletcher Fights Lauren Bushnell At Ben Higgins Reunion: The Bachelor Brawl!

The Bachelor is like a playground for grownup love losers. There’s always drama and hysterics, none more so than at the recent Bachelorette reunion, when JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell got into it with each other. JoJo Fletcher’s season ended with the traditional After The Final Rose (it never is the final rose), a reunion show of sorts that brings together the madness and the Kate Bush love children.

As you know, JoJo Fletcher is Ben Higgins’ ex, so awkwardness escalated quicker than an overweight murderer at a gym club. For some bizarre reason – we think it might have been a decision made by the producers – JoJo Fletcher “invited” Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins to her finale. Why anyone would do that goes beyond me. It’s like asking your ex to attend your new girlfriend’s 21st birthday party in Cancun.

Behind the scenes, Lauren and JoJo allegedly ignored one another. And Ben didn’t get the clean break he wanted either. As awkward and as cringeworthy as it was, we applaud the producers for bringing together these two worlds and smashing them up like a sad kid smashes a cake at his 5th birthday party for one.

Ben and Lauren’s new show, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?, which is basically a direct spin-off and an ingenious continuation of the narrative, was allegedly touted at the reunion. Here, you have two lovebirds with their own show, trying to make their reality television ends meet, both forced into an annoyingly awkward encounter with JoJo.

According to People Magazine, “While viewers at the time were only privy to a few on-screen minutes of Higgins and Bushnell’s appearance, the couple gave fans a whole new look into the ordeal on Tuesday’s premiere of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?”

An ordeal of epic proportions. Once you follow the route of reality television, well, let’s just say there’s no turning back. You’re stuck with your reality show until producers and/or audience members get tired of you.

Imagine how strange it must have been for Lauren to bump into JoJo. Hey ex! I’m the new one. How do you do? Strangle, strangle, Single White Female Part Deux. Bunny boilers galore, we take our hats off to The Bachelorette producers for creating this lovely proxy war. Hatred and love go together like chocolate and popcorn. So grab yours and let’s chew through this, shall we?
