As the Royal feud between Kate Middleton and Princess Eugenie escalates Camilla Parker-Bowles must be increasingly disgusted with the young Royals. Can you imagine? The woman who carried on an affair with the married Prince Charles is judging The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Eugenie?
It’s bad enough Kate and Eugenie are lazy as lazy can be, but now the Royal ladies are truly throwing etiquette out the window and willingly appearing on fashion magazine covers.
Kate Middleton had to be the first Royal to appear on the cover of British Vogue with a pictorial smack dab in the middle of the magazine. Kate chose to go the casual route for the British Vogue cover and pictorial to show the world that she hasn’t lost touch with those commoner roots.
Princess Eugenie also wants the world to know she is just an ordinary girl too, despite the Royal title. Eugenie appears on the cover of the September 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar wearing a to-die-for blush pink Alberta Ferretti gown that cost nearly $10K.
Wearing a $10,000 designer gown isn’t exactly the way to show just how ordinary you are despite the fact that you’re a princess. But once one reads the interview one discovers that Princess Eugenie’s everyday life is anything but exciting.
Princess Eugenie went into great – snooze – detail about her morning routine and conversations with Jack – the doggie, not boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. Eugenie shops for her own groceries at Waitrose, enjoys dinner out with friends, and her favorite drink is vodka and soda with lots of lime.
Camilla Parker-Bowles has her faults, and they are numerous. Adultery is one of the unforgivable sins, isn’t it? But at least Camilla isn’t running around blathering on about puttering around Royal gardens at Highgrove or publicly discussing which brand of gin she prefers.
Okay, Camilla has garnered a bit of attention recently when Prince Charles announced that the statue of the late Queen Mother would be built near a pub the Prince of Wales has named for Camilla. And lest we not forget Camilla’s sister Annabel Elliot has been commissioned to design the pub’s interior.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if instead of being disgusted as Kate Middleton and Princess Eugenie try to one-up each other Camilla Parker-Bowles is laughing her fool head off?
