“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that the investigation into the Dr Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) murder will provide shocking answers that will immediately impact two marriages – one for the better and one for the worse.
Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) will work with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to uncover what really went on at Fairview on their own since Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is in no shape to investigate. Paul is too distraught over Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and assumes she killed Dr A.
We don’t know for sure that Patty did the stabbing – we saw it in a flashback, but we have to remember that Patty is heavily medicated and what’s going on in her head may or may not be true. Plus, Y&R showrunners like to trick us with editing and false leads, so Patty’s guilt is not a certainty.
But with Sage Newman’s (Kelly Sullivan) strange dream about Patty holding baby Sully and singing to him, Sage will wonder what her brain is trying to tell her. Dylan will have more questions for his nutty aunt and Nick will remember that Patty was trying to tell him and Sage something.
But Nick shooed Patty out and that means he may have missed an important clue. Will Patty be lucid enough to reveal that Sully is Christian? Y&R spoilers have teased for weeks that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will find out that her and Sully share no DNA.
Is this based on some medical test results that Dylan finds in Dr A’s records during the investigation? Or will they test Sharon and Sully’s DNA because of what Patty says about Sharon never being pregnant. Sharon herself was just talking to Sage about Dr A keeping her from her family.
Who will it be that does the math on Sharon’s miscarriage plus Sandy Anderson keeping the family away and figures out Sharon never delivered? A quick trip to the doctor should confirm that Sharon’s body shows no evidence of going through labor and delivery recently.
Y&R spoilers indicate that the first step is realizing Sully is Christian and then the next step is finding out Christian is not Nick’s son. Joshua Morrow told On-Air On-Soaps Michael Fairman, “You have these two things and they are not going to happen concurrently, and who knows when they are going to happen?”
Morrow also revealed that soon Nick and Sage will find out that, “Christian is alive, and eventually he is going to come back to Nick and Sage.” With February sweeps promising big action, it seems like the Sully is Christian reveal will be part of the big fireworks this month.
But after Sharon has to hand Sully over to Sage since she’s his biological mother, will Sharon’s fragile mental health hold up? Will Dr Anderson’s evil plot to ruin the lives of the women Nick loves still come to fruition even though Dr A is dead?
Is Sharon facing another breakdown when she has to lose the child she loves? This compounds the loss she experienced with the miscarriage of her baby with Dylan and now this is going to hit twice as hard. Can Sharon deal or is she looking at more sanitarium time – but with a saner shrink?
