Milo Ventimiglia is part of the cast of TV’s hottest new show This is Us as Jack Pearson. Fans of the show know that Jack has passed away, but it hasn’t been revealed how or when he died; we only know that his wife, Rebecca, portrayed by Mandy Moore went on to marry Jack’s best friend, Miguel (Jon Huertas).
Sources reveal Milo dropping a big hint about his character. While sporting his mustache, he confirms that Jack is going to be around for a while; to fans, this is a huge relief, as Jack is the glue keeping the family together and the one who seems to have the sweetest heart when it comes to his three children: Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Steerling K. Brown).
For those of you who have not watched This is Us, you are missing out on a fantastic new show that depicts the lives of the Pearson family bouncing back and forth from the birth of the triplets to their present day lives. The show is filled with laughter, fighting, and sadness; everything a great show needs to succeed.
Justin Hartley (ex-Adam) left The Young and the Restless to pursue more prime time TV, and it appears he has landed on his feet. Fans of This is Us have been thoroughly enjoying him in the role of Kevin, the TV star who has fallen from grace after a public melt-down on the show that made him famous, The Manny. He leaves to New York to attempt a career in Broadway. His career is stalled there when he quickly learns that his charm and sex life do not mix well with business.
Chrissy Metz is still fairly new to the acting world. She had also acted in American Horror Story. She plays the only sister in the triplets, and hates being separated from Kevin. They have a deep connection as you can see when one thing happens to him she feels it, even thousands of miles away. The show reveals her struggle with weight since she was a young child which causes a lot of tension between her and her mother, Rebecca.
Sterling K. Brown has played roles in various TV series, including the 2016 miniseries The People Vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story. He plays the role of Randall, an African American child who was left by his biological father at the fire station. He was brought as a newborn to the hospital by the fire chief, when Jack learns of his story, they take him in as their own.
Of course Randall struggles with racial issues as well as being an incredibly gifted child. As Randall grows older he knows that he was raised in a privileged environment, but is desperate to know of his past and his history.
