General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a preposterous partnership has played pretty much the entire town of Port Charles. That’s right folks, MIA Claudette (Bree Williamson) may be a low-down, dirty, bottle-blond, cheat, but she’s also an Oscar caliber actor!
General Hospital spoilers suggest that savvy Claudette is nobody’s victim, least of all Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart). In fact, if a hot new rumor is true, Canadian Claudette and Euro Val are the smoothest partners in crime to hit Port Charles in a long, long, time.
The idea of Claudette was initially introduced to GH viewers as Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) green-card grifting ex-wife, although he first claimed that she was his dog. It’s a long story.
Later, when GH viewers were introduced to Claudette in the flesh, her reason for coming to Port Charles was simple: reconnect with a sure thing. The serial scammer was down to her last buck, and if Nathan had bailed her out once, he’d do it again. Of course, she claimed to want his love, but if she said she wanted his money, how far would that get her?
Luckily, Claudette didn’t have to find out because also lurking about Port Charles was Valentin Cassadine, a shady acquaintance and fellow con artist willing to scratch her back if she scratched his. Their initial meet-up may have been coincidental but their subsequent plotting was totally intentional and best of all, mutually beneficial.
In exchange for a whole lot of Cassadine cash, Claudette agreed to recite whatever script Valentin put in front of her. In return, Valentin had himself the perfect smokescreen to enact the mother of all frauds. Long story short, Claudette tearfully told Nathan that she and their “secret daughter” Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) were on the run from a dangerous man named Valentin Cassadine.
That one little lie spawned a convoluted web of intrigues that continues to spiral out of control and ensnare Port Charles victims to this day. To what end did Valentin put in motion his sinister plot that includes the claim that Charlotte is the product of his sperm and town sweetheart Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) stolen embryo?
That would entail knowing something about Valentin’s agenda and motivation, and as GH viewers know, thus far the man is a total cipher. But is all that about to change with the sudden return of the feared-dead Claudette to Port Charles?
Everyone knows that there is no honor among thieves, and if certain GH spoilers rumors are true, the traitorous, money-hungry con woman is about to blow back into town and blow the lid off of the epic scam she helped Valentin create!
