Nina Dobrev apparently snubbed her former The Vampire Diaries co-stars by not inviting them to her wild Labor Day party. She invited her other Hollywood pals instead.
Nina wore a pink and blue 1980’s-style bikini and shared several photos of the wild party on her Instagram account. She even captioned one of the photos with, “Adult summer camp 80’s edition. Because… why not? We had an 80’s Neon themed party because the 80’s were the best years (they’re the best because we were all born in them… duh) Well, not Lane or Maverick. But they’ve been hanging out with us long enough that we’ve aged them by corruption and association. #LetsGetPhysical.”
Additional photos show that Nina invited her supposed boyfriend Glen Powell, actor John Stamos, Chord Overstreet and many more of her television friends. Yet it doesn’t seem like anyone from The Vampire Diaries was invited to the bash.
Many fans can’t help but wonder if Nina Dobrev might have completely parted ways with all of her The Vampire Diaries co-stars. Even though the show helped put her on the map, Nina is making it pretty clear that she wants nothing to do with her television past. And she might also want nothing to do with her co-stars, either.
At the same time though, no one knows why Nina would push her former co-stars and friends away. After all, she made it no secret that she used to be very close with Paul Wesley. What’s more, many social media photos indicated that Nina was also quite friendly with her ex, Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed. They even partied together during the show’s wrap-up celebration before their series finale. Strangely enough Nina has made no effort to reach out to Ian and Nikki to congratulate them on the birth of their daughter or to visit them for that matter. Instead, Nina is focusing on her new life with her new Hollywood friends.
For Nina, the only thing that matters is her new movie career and rubbing elbows with as many A-list friends as she can. She wants to focus on getting parts in big budget Hollywood movies. The only way she can get there is if she associates with the right kind of people. Apparently, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder and the rest of the Vampire Diaries cast don’t fit in that category.
