Prince George Takes After Father Prince William: Hates Contact Sports

It looks like Prince George is already taking after his father Prince William when it comes to the things he likes and doesn’t like. William himself said that his 4-year-old son is no fan of contact sports. He made the revelation while hosting a reception for England’s women’s soccer team at Kensington Palace this week.

During the reception, William told the women’s soccer team, known as the Lionesses, that young Prince George doesn’t like to get physical when playing sports. Even though he likes to kick the ball, he doesn’t like it when anyone gets too close to him on the field.

According to Hello Magazine, player Casey Stoney said, “[William] said at the moment he’s trying to teach George that football is actually a contact sport. But George doesn’t really like it when he’s palming him off and getting physical. He said he’s really encouraging his kids to get involved with sport.”

Sure, many royal fans know that Prince William doesn’t like to participate in many contact sports himself. Sure, he’s been spotted at Rugby games in the past but was never a good player himself. Even actor Eddie Redmayne said that William often complained about playing Rugby and getting tackled by the other players.

If that weren’t enough, William hates playing soccer, too. The last time he was photographed playing footie was back when he was 17-years-old. Instead, Prince William prefers to play sports that don’t require much physical contact, including polo and golf. That’s why many royal fans aren’t surprised that young Prince George is already taking after his father. Clearly, he doesn’t like to be touched if he doesn’t have to.

Now, of course this doesn’t mean that Prince George won’t change his mind about contact sports later in life. Kids often change their minds about what they like or don’t like on a daily basis. But if Prince George turns out to be anything like his father, there’s a good chance that he’ll shun any kind of contact altogether. After all, Prince William doesn’t even like to hold his wife Kate Middleton’s hand in public. In fact, he rarely makes an effort to touch her or show any kind of public display of affection. Clearly, Kate Middleton doesn’t want to see her son Prince George grow up the same way.

He’s only four. Too soon to tell what he really likes.

Funnily enough that’s just about the only thing that I find likeable about William as I personally hate contact sports (I really mean hate) and although I encourage other kinds of physical activities I strongly discourage contact sports.

The kid may be only four but i hope he will stay away from this idiotic form of exercise. There are so many other ways of competitive activities that one really doesn’t have to end up getting permanent injury and arthritis by the age of 50 simply so their parents are happy.

I did gymnastics at school, was standing on my hands, boy run up, cut my arms (he thought it was hilarious at the time, little shit), I dropped on my neck, almost broke it, and by the age of 30something I have developed arthritis in it. It keeps getting worse as I get older. Yes, I DO KNOW what I am talking about.

That’s a really awful story – so sorry. Kids really can be little sh*ts.

Holy Shit !, have you seen Waity’s latest fiasco’s ? She so f-ing stupid. She wore a floral dress and dorky sandals to a Nazi concentration camp ! Why not just bring balloons too, you know ?!
A few camp survivors attended and were unfortunate enough to have yet another bad experience in the same place {thanks to interacting with the bimbo}.
Also saw a photo of her in a hideous off the shoulder red dress that looked like it was consuming her, made it obvious her figure is like a surf board.
Other photos….a white dress and her hair up,trying hard to have a sophisticated look on her face but coming off like a the dullard she truly is. Man, when she bombs she really bombs, and it looks like the tour photos bombed.

Yeah, I can relate – got an injury before age 25 that’s flared up a bit now that I’m a bit older.
