The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will continue to be drawn toward each other. Hilary’s actually on a good path at the moment. Devon can see that Hilary’s dialed down all the scheming and vindictiveness. He’s starting to see the person he fell in love with and that means a reunion can’t be too far off.
In Wednesday’s new Y&R episode, December 20, Devon almost locks lips with Hilary under the mistletoe. The near kiss shows that temptation is building for these two. Devon invited Hilary over for a drink on Christmas, but she already has plans with Jack (Peter Bergman). Of course, it wouldn’t take long for Hilary to swing by. Will she squeeze in a visit with Devon over the holidays?
If Christmas doesn’t pan out, there’s always New Year’s Eve. You can bet that a smooch is indeed coming for these two pretty soon. Maybe a hookup will happen, too. It’s clear that Hilary and Devon won’t be able to fight their feelings for much longer.
Let’s say they eventually enjoy that inevitable blissful night in bed together. Devon and Hilary might agree that it was a mistake in the morning. They could determine that it was a beautiful blunder, but a blunder nonetheless. Hilary and Devon finally have a solid friendship, so they may not want to mess it up.
They might go their separate ways once more, but surprise! Hilary might end up with a bun in the oven. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that a bundle of joy must be in Hilary’s future. They’re certainly highlighting her baby fever right now. Sam’s practically all Hilary can talk about, so Y&R surely intends on giving Hilary one of her own.
This could be exactly what Devon and Hilary need to seal the deal. They’ve been fighting their inevitable reunion, but the baby news could bring them together. Then again, The Young and the Restless could always take a different route to the same outcome. Hilary might decide she’s ready for motherhood on her own. She could seek a sperm donor, but Devon might change her mind.
Perhaps Devon could insist that he wants to build a family with Hilary. He could convince her to reunite with him and get started on their bright future. Regardless, Devon and Hilary will likely start a brood soon enough.
