The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease Michael Muhney landed another acting gig. However, the handsome actor is being tight-lipped about the details of the job which is adding to the speculation about his return to the CBS soap opera as Adam Newman.
Muhney revealed that he snagged an acting job and was taping in Canada. He added that he brought his bicycle so he could explore on his bike during down time. He did not reveal any details about his new job and was careful not to imply he was working on Young and the Restless.
The only thing Michael said was he found a picture his daughter, Ella colored for him. He admitted it made him cry that she made something special for him and snuck it in his suitcase.
The Young and the Restless alum told his followers a few weeks ago that if and when the time came to announce his return to Y&R, he would do that. He also stated that he would let his fans know where they could watch him on television/movies.
Even so, Y&R fans have remained convinced that CBS is stalling. The fans believe that Muhney was rehired and CBS is waiting until November sweeps to drop the bombshell that Michael would be returning as Adam.
Eric Braeden tweeted that Young and the Restless fans should be patient for Adam’s return. He assured the fans that the wait would be worth it. It seemed to suggest that Adam was coming back later in the year.
Sharon Case posted a series of photos from Jennifer Gareis’ (Grace Turner) birthday party. In one of the images, Michael Muhney, Jennifer, Tamara Clutterbuck, and Sharon posed together. There have been several reports of Jennifer returning to Y&R for a short stint. Tamara is now back for a year-long contract. So, it makes sense that Muhney could be coming back too. Of course, we’ll have to wait for November sweeps to see if CBS announces Adam’s return to find out.
