Kate Middleton is worried that Queen Elizabeth might let Meghan Markle dip into her jewelry box the same way she has been doing for several years now. More often than not, the Duchess of Cambridge wears Queen Elizabeth’s jewelry during her public appearances. And there’s a possibility that Prince Harry’s girlfriend might do the same soon enough.
Kate Middleton knows that the moment Meghan Markle becomes Prince Harry’s wife, she won’t be the only royal princess wearing Queen Elizabeth’s borrowed pieces. Kate loves to show off Queen Elizabeth’s brooches, necklaces and bracelets whenever she’s given a chance. For the Duchess, it gives her the opportunity to not only dip into the Queen’s spectacular jewelry collection, but also prove to the world that they do indeed have a good relationship behind closed doors. And for Kate, that’s very important. She knows just how beneficial it is to have Queen Elizabeth on her side.
Of course, time will only tell if Queen Elizabeth will indeed warm up to Meghan Markle in the same way. But seeing how passionate Meghan already is about her charity work and her role as a humanitarian, there’s a good possibility that she will excel as a member of the British royal family. For the Queen, that’s what she wants to see.
After all, the Queen has made it no secret that she wants the younger generation of royals to step it up in their workload. And for someone like Meghan, it won’t be a problem. She’s already used to all the hectic schedules and demands that come with her job as a Hollywood actress. That’s why she’ll be willing to do whatever it takes to mark her place in the royal family.
It’s without a doubt that Queen Elizabeth will not only take notice, but that she’ll also be quite impressed with Meghan’s dedication and work ethic. At this point it’s safe to say that she’s been waiting for someone like Meghan to join the family. Plus, she also sees just how happy her grandson Prince Harry has been with her. Now it’s just a matter of time before the two of them make their relationship official so Meghan can get straight to work.
