Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail (Marci Miller) will take drastic measures to keep herself out of a sanitarium. She knows that Chad (Billy Flynn), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), and JJ (Casey Moss) are strongly leaning in favor of having her committed. Thanks to Gabi’s (Camila Banus) evil plan, they think that Abigail’s alter “Gabby” is back and more violent than ever.
Abigail will soon realize that her days on the outside are about up if Gabi gets her way and Chad decides to commit her. As her husband, Chad’s got the decision-making power to have Abigail committed, and Abigail knows it. The last thing she wants is to go back into a sanitarium, plus she wants to expose Gabi for gaslighting her, so she’ll take drastic measures.
According to Days spoilers, Abigail will turn to an unlikely ally…Stefan (Tyler Christopher). Abigail knows that Stefan wants Gabby and that he’ll do anything to help her if it means there’s a chance he’ll see Gabby again. Abigail realizes that Stefan’s motives aren’t exactly pure, but she’ll have no choice; she’ll need his help.
Stefan will help Abigail by taking her out of town for a quickie divorce from Chad. A divorce will rip away Chad’s power to have her committed, so Abigail will feel that this is the only option for her to stay out of a sanitarium. And then Abigail will do the unthinkable…she’ll marry Stefan. With Stefan as Abigail’s husband, at least Abigail will know that she won’t be in danger of being committed.
And Abigail’s plan will work beautifully. Days spoilers say that Chad will finally come to the difficult decision to have her committed, and that when he does, Abigail will reveal that he can’t do so because they’re no longer married, and that Stefan is her new husband. Chad will be horrified, but there will be nothing he can do about it.
Of course, this means that Abigail will probably move back into the DiMera mansion, which might provide her with more protection from Gabi than she had at Jennifer’s place. Days spoilers say that Gabi will be furious with Abigail’s actions, likely because it will make it harder for Gabi to achieve her ultimate goal.
