The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Coverup Crew Takes Down Tessa - Who’s Worse: Blackmailer or Dead Body Disposers?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will completely mess up the Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) situation. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will undoubtedly be breathing down her neck about that. They’re using Mariah (Camryn Grimes), but they can’t trust her to keep a clear head when it comes to Tessa. In fact, Mariah’s resolve will already be weakening on next week’s new Y&R episodes, November 26-30.

That’s why Victoria’s working on her own plan to keep Tessa in line. Victoria will go to dangerous extremes on Monday’s episode, November 26, but she’ll feel her actions are justified. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were also horrified by the blackmailer revelation. It certainly wasn’t Tessa’s finest hour, but is the cover-up crew really any better? It’s about time someone called out these hypocrites.

Even Mariah appears to have been swayed by the deadly posse’s excuses. She chewed out Tessa for rationalizing her behavior and then allowed the cover-up club to do the same thing. J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) was attacking Victoria, so we have no problem with Nikki’s decision to intervene. However, their actions afterward were stupid at best and cruel at worst.

Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and J.T.’s kids with Mac (Kelly Kruger) were left with false hope for months. Nikki, Sharon, Victoria and Phyllis have been spinning lies from the moment their shovels broke ground. J.T. was horrible, but he was still a human being. Call us crazy, but rolling up a dead guy and burying him in Chancellor Park seems a whole lot worse than sending letters and demanding money.

To be fair, three of the ladies don’t know why Tessa was after a big payday. She needed money to pay off some violent baddies, which is something Mariah and Sharon really should’ve mentioned. Victoria, Phyllis and Nikki think Tessa was just looking to make a quick buck. They don’t know that Tessa was physically attacked or that Mariah was being followed.

Nevertheless, the rest of the girls’ night gang probably wouldn’t have sympathy anyway. From the get-go, they’ve only been about protecting themselves. Even now, they’re asking Mariah to do something that’s tormenting her. Sharon’s somehow getting a pass for her own lies and letting Mariah suffer by faking her reunion with Tessa.

Tessa’s obviously still lying about getting rid of all the evidence. She’s given herself a little safety net by stashing some cash and a thumb drive in the teddy bear. Perhaps that’s because you usually can’t con a con. Part of Tessa may suspect that Mariah’s playing her. She can’t truly trust Mariah anymore and she definitely can’t trust the members of the burial squad. In any case, Victoria knows all about Tessa’s backup plan and strips her of the cash and thumb drive on Monday!

If Victoria actually tries to frame Tessa for murder or digs up dirt that could tie back to Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), it could unleash quite a mess. Regardless, Y&R’s cover-up crew could stand to look in the mirror and realize what they’ve turned into. Their behavior is clearly getting out of hand. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that trend will continue, so stay tuned for more drama.

Do you think Nikki, Sharon, Victoria and Phyllis are hypocrites? Are they selfish for pressuring Mariah into doing their dirty work? Who’s worse here? The blackmailer or the dead body disposers?
