The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 23-27 tease that secrets will bring drama and heartache as can be seen in a preview video below. For starters, Devon (Bryton James) will hide something huge from Hilary (Mishael Morgan). In the hospital waiting area, he’ll talk about the issue with Lily (Christel Khalil). Devon will admit that Hilary doesn’t know about her condition yet.
Y&R fans can expect some sort of deadly complication to develop. There’s a good chance Hilary will be fading fast. Devon will be torn apart at the thought of losing her, but he’ll have to face the reality of the situation. He’ll know what they’re up against, so he’ll decide to keep another secret. This one will be a pleasant surprise, but it’ll be just as heartbreaking for viewers.
Devon will throw a little wedding together as quick as he can. He’ll make the arrangements before he shares the news with Hilary. As Hilary cries in the ICU, Devon will gaze in her eyes. He’ll insist that he wants to make Hilary his wife again as soon as possible.
Hilary will most likely know she’s dying by then. Nate (Brooks Darnell) may deliver difficult updates or Hilary might just guess thanks to all the somber faces. Regardless, Hilary will choose to live in the moment with Devon. They’ll forget about the mistakes of the past and the pain of the imminent future. Instead, “Hevon” will exchange vows for the ultimate bittersweet sendoff.
Elsewhere, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will discuss their epic blunder. They’ll wake up after a night of lovemaking and determine that it was a horrible idea. Phyllis still wants Billy (Jason Thompson) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) believes Sharon (Sharon Case) is his soul mate. As a result, they’ll opt to keep this sex shocker to themselves!
Of course, Nick and Phyllis’ secret is bound to get out anyway. Someone will find out what they’ve done, so they should land in hot water soon. Summer (Hunter King) seems like a great discovery candidate. Over with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), she’ll keep Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) at a distance. After catching her embracing another woman on Friday, Mariah and Tessa’s trust will be broken again.
Once Tessa senses that something’s up, she’ll tell Mariah she’s worried about her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will immediately lash out. She’ll suggest that she doesn’t believe a word out of Tessa’s mouth these days.
There’s probably a good explanation for the hug Mariah witnessed, so Tessa needs to come clean. They have to be honest with each other or this relationship is never going to work.
