General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) plan could pay off. During his recent chat with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jax mentioned changing tactics. He heard about the brewing custody battle surrounding Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and decided there might be a way to score some dirt on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), her devoted papa.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Jax the whole story about Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) not too long ago. Now Jax has asked Curtis to find her – and we all know he’s pretty good at finding people! There have been far too many Claudette hints at this point. It seems like a safe bet that Claudette is going to show up and deliver on this dirt that’s needed. There’s no other reason for GH to devote so much airtime to talking about Claudette and setting all this up.
When Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) was in town for a visit, there were other crucial clues. General Hospital really seemed to focus on the paternity angle and how there was uncertainty about who Charlotte’s father was at first. There’s a good chance Claudette’s comeback will bring major revelations and total devastation for Valentin.
Claudette surely has some secrets to spill, and Curtis may be just the person to pry them out of her. Once he tracks Claudette down, he may explain the situation and hope she’s willing to cooperate. Claudette might eventually be convinced to join Curtis in Port Charles. If not, Claudette could at least point Curtis in the right direction before he returns home.
Based on how everything’s gone down in this story so far, it seems incredibly likely that Valentin isn’t Charlotte’s true bio dad – or at least won’t appear to be. There’s always a possibility they’ll have a DNA test done that’s manipulated to hurt Valentin. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) would certainly have a strong motive to do that! He could destroy his enemy and give his sister, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), power over Valentin in the process.
Then again, General Hospital might actually have a paternity change in mind for Charlotte. Either way, Claudette could be the key to Valentin’s looming downfall. He may face the same pain Nina felt when she realized Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) wasn’t really her daughter. That is, of course, if Valentin is even in the dark! This could be something he’s known for quite some time and covered up.
