The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of April 1-5 tease that some big moments are ahead in Genoa City. For starters, let’s talk about a step forward for “Shey.” Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) have been inching toward a romance for a long time, but they haven’t gone on an official date yet. Thankfully, that’s about to change.
Rey will head to the athletic club with Sharon for an intimate dinner. They’ll strengthen their connection and do some flirting, so there’ll be some cute scenes for fans of this couple. As Sharon looks at Rey with heart eyes, he’ll tell her he’d be a fool to let another day go by without kissing her. It turns out they’ll do a lot more than that when this date winds down!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Rey will make love later, but there’ll be a secret between them. Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) pregnancy still hasn’t been revealed to Sharon, so that’s something that has to be addressed eventually. In the meantime, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find an unusual coping strategy. It’ll involve a handsome man she meets on a trip to Las Vegas.
Victoria is clearly struggling with the aftermath of J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) abuse and the nightmare it led to. J.T. wasn’t to blame due to that brain tumor, but that doesn’t change what Victoria went through. She’ll decide to pack a bag and get away from the painful memories in GC for a while.
After Victoria lands in Vegas, she’ll check in a hotel under the name Jeni Lambertson to slip under the radar. Victoria will adopt a different look and persona while she’s there. She’ll just want to take a break from her real life for a while. Y&R spoilers say Victoria will end up meeting a hunk named Brandon (Mitch Eakins), who happens to be part of a band.
After Victoria posts pictures of the fun she’s having, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be baffled by her behavior. He won’t get why Victoria is suddenly in Vegas becoming a groupie. When he sees the hot guy beside her, Billy should battle some jealousy as well.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers state that we’ll see more Jabot drama. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get flak for her scheme with Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter), but she’ll defend her actions. She’ll argue that she’s not trying to destroy Jabot; she’s trying to save it by taking it over. Of course, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) and the rest of the Abbotts won’t feel the same way.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will turn to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) for some legal advice. She’ll hope they can wiggle Fenmore’s out of their Jabot contract and stay out of this disaster. It sounds like the drama will definitely heat up in the week ahead!
