The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 25-29 tease that some wild story developments are on the way. Keep in mind that due to impeachment hearings coverage, recent and future preemptions could throw off the schedule a bit. However, it’s a good idea to know what’s coming up in general, so here’s a look at next week’s action.
For starters, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will grow increasingly concerned about all the time Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) spending at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place. He doesn’t trust his brother and undoubtedly feels Adam’s using Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to manipulate her. The truth is Connor is in bad shape right now. He needs both his parents nearby, which is why Chelsea will pack up some of her belongings and make her stay at Adam’s a lengthier one.
Despite Nick’s assurance that he supports Chelsea move-in, he may worry this temporary stay will become a permanent one – and it certainly could. As for Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), he’ll be cornered and accused. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) will end up ratting out his son, which will leave Cane implicated in this will mayhem.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will face off with Cane once again, but Cane will try to maintain his innocence. That could become more difficult to do as the evidence piles up. It certainly sounds like Cane’s going down! Y&R fans can expect some shocking confessions as this storyline seemingly reaches its conclusion.
Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll deal with big changes at Jabot. It won’t be easy once Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) starts his new job running the social media department. Kyle will do his best to get along with his cousin, but there’s pretty much no chance of that working out for long.
Even Summer may find she’s not fond of Theo invading her safe space. Jabot used to be where Summer could enjoy some private bestie time with Kyle, but having her main squeeze Theo around will squash that. Bottom line, Theo’s presence at Jabot will cause plenty of tension.
Fortunately, the Abbott family will keep the peace long enough for a special gathering. In honor of Peter Bergman’s (Jack Abbott) 30th anniversary at Y&R, we’ll see some sweet scenes and a special toast. Jack will celebrate with his loved ones after Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) finishes writing their book.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) will also be on hand, so viewers will look forward to that. Dina sightings are rare and always welcome. Jack will let the fam know how much he loves and appreciates them, so expect a few of them to get choked up.
Back with Chelsea, she’ll be in a tight spot. Chelsea’s loyalties will be put to the test – perhaps meaning her loyalty to Nick as her boyfriend and Adam as Connor’s father. As for Thanksgiving, The Young and the Restless spoilers say it’ll be celebrated in Genoa City eventually. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get some help feeding the homeless while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) party comes with a curveball.
There are some repeats currently scheduled for Thursday and Friday, but that could change if Y&R wants to play catchup due to the recent preemptions. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
