Days of Our Lives Spoilers: 5 Reasons Charlie Is Henry’s Bio Dad, Behind Allie’s Rape – Goofball Titan Intern Not So Innocent

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) likely didn’t commit the crime based on actor interviews and story clues. With that in mind, who is Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) true rapist?

Although it’s still early in this storyline, there are some greatt reasons to think Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) the Titan intern is actually Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) bio dad. Let’s discuss five of them as we await the rest of this unraveling mystery.

1) Timing

A new male character popped up in Salem the exact day Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) found out he’d been accused of raping Allie. Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) also learned Tripp was allegedly Allie’s rapist shortly before running into Charlie. It just doesn’t seem like any of that is a coincidence.

Charlie seems like he’ll be quite tied to Claire and this story that’s happening with Tripp and Allie. There’s a good chance it’s because Charlie is Allie’s rapist, though it may take some time for Charlie to show his true colors – and for Allie to remember Charlie.

2) Too good to be true

Charlie came on the scene as a sweet goofball and a victim in a way. Poor, silly Charlie and his beverage disasters! Days is working overtime to make Charlie seem harmless – just like they’re working overtime to make Tripp seem guilty. In reality, DOOL’s probably misleading fans in both cases.

To be honest, Charlie already looks like his rich daddy took care of some incidents that happened at a drunken lacrosse party. He just has that kind of face! Charlie’s cute and charming, but it’s easy to see how that could be a front for the kind of person he is at his core.

Think about Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly), who asked Sonny Kirakis (Freddie Smith) on a casual date in his first episode. Charlie’s going to ask Claire out in his second appearance.

Evan was secretly a monster, but he spent so much time chatting with Sonny about fun things – like football, karaoke, sugar-free brownies, etc. It was all very adorable and trivial.

Then, in classic DOOL fashion – there was a twist. Innocent Evan was revealed as Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) killer and the father of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends). It makes sense for Days of Our Lives writers to follow the same pattern with Charlie by making him Allie’s assailant.

3) Throwaway character

Unlike Tripp, who’s the son of heroic Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Charlie is nobody – at least so far. Charlie is perhaps a throwaway character like Evan ultimately was. It’d be better to tarnish random Charlie’s reputation and get rid of him later than to make Tripp scum for no reason.

4) Blank slate

Charlie also happens to be a blank slate – meaning viewers have no idea what kind of person he is or where he was over Christmas break. Was Charlie in London? He might’ve been! The fact that fans know nothing is the point. Days can mold Charlie into a rapist if they want him to be one and reveal dark tidbits from his past sooner or later.

5) Audition leak

An audition was leaked several months ago on Vimeo and later taken down. This audition was for the part of “Oliver,” and the scene centered around Oliver tripping over Claire’s foot and spilling coffee.

Of course, changes are often made by the time things hit the air – and now we’ve seen the reverse situation happen with a smoothie. It was Claire who tripped and forced the spillage.

It’s obvious “Oliver” was a disguised name for Charlie, so some other details from that audition may come into play – like Charlie knowing Allie’s brother, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and the fact that Charlie has a negative history with girls.

It’s worth noting that “Oliver” wasn’t portrayed as a very good guy by the end of the leaked scene. Days may have dialed it down to avoid tipping fans off. Once “Oliver” became Charlie, they may have created a softer introduction to preserve Charlie’s good guy persona.

Do you think Charlie is Allie’s real rapist? Will Charlie eventually be revealed as Henry’s father? As other DOOL news comes in, we’ll offer updates. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some bombs are set to drop on the NBC soap, so stay tuned.
