Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that we’re starting to get a clearer picture of how Brandon Barash’s (Stefan DiMera) long-awaited return will play out. Let’s consider a few clues to set all this up. For starters, there’s the leaked photo that surfaced of Barash – which let us all know that he’d indeed be returning.
Confirmation came later, but that first leaked pic was crucial. Why? Barash appeared to be in casual clothes on a motorcycle garage set. Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) has a motorcycle and happens to be dating Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who considered Stefan a friend. The puzzle pieces are right there just waiting to be put together.
Days spoilers say Barash’s first airdate back is April 23, which should be when Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) spots Stefan’s reflection. There’s a good chance that’ll just be in Gabi’s head, but it’ll set the stage for what’s to come.
We should also note that DOOL’s weekly promo features Gabi walking into the DiMera Enterprises’ office, where a man has his back turned in a chair. A puzzled Gabi suspects this is somehow Stefan, but it looks like it’ll be Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) instead. It seems likely Gabi will start “seeing” Stefan everywhere since she’ll have him on her mind.
As for Barash’s return as an actual character, that should come through a shocking encounter with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) on April 24. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will be floored by someone who looks identical to his old pal, Stefan.
During the week of April 27-May 1, Ben will continue to struggle with this uncanny resemblance. The man he gets an introduction from will be named Jake, but Ben just won’t be able to get over how much he looks like Stefan.
Now let’s throw the bike shop clue in here. Will Jake be a mechanic at this motorcycle garage? Ben might take Ciara’s bike in or even go in looking for a job. The latter might be amusing since Ben worked for Stefan and now may end up working for Jake. Perhaps Jake owns this garage in a town just outside of Salem or something along those lines.
Of course, we should point out that “Jake” could certainly be an amnesiac Stefan. It’s easy to imagine a blank-slate kind of guy working on motorcycles and not really knowing who he is.
A simple fella who just likes to work with his hands and keep to himself. The mystery will unravel as time goes on, so Jake could be Stefan DiMera back from the “dead.”
